Qingdao Chuangrui Builds an International Logistics Center
On June 21, 2014, the logistics center of Qingdao Chuangrui Electric Co., Ltd. underwent a relocation. This significant date marks a milestone in the company's chronicle of events and signifies a new beginning for Qingdao Chuangrui in its journey to establish an international logistics center.
With the continuous development of our company and the increase in product storage capacity, the old warehouse at No. 32 Zhenjiang Road has become inadequate for our management and storage needs. We bid farewell to our old home and moved into our new one at Huaqing Industrial Park on Nanchang Road.
Upon entering the logistics center, one is immediately struck by its cleanliness, freshness, and orderliness, which is starkly different from our imagination of a "warehouse". The first thing that catches the eye is the spacious and tidy courtyard. Stepping into the courtyard, one finds a two-story building with a private entrance and courtyard, where offices, reception rooms, and manager's offices are neatly arranged. The playground in the courtyard is even designed as a standard badminton court, providing a place for everyone to engage in sports during their leisure time.
This is merely the external environment of the logistics center, and it is our hardware facilities that we aim to build into a high-standard logistics center. To meet international requirements, we must achieve standardization and normalization in management
Upon entering the warehouse gate, what first catches your eye are rows upon rows of neatly arranged shelves and orderly goods. This embodies the primary requirement in logistics center management: standardization.
Standardized management: Introduce the 6S concept, which includes organization, rectification, cleaning, sweeping, literacy, and safety;
Standardized placement: Unified shelves, neat and consistent, with all goods aligned in a straight line. There are strict requirements for the placement of each product, from high to low. Each brand's products have their "own home". At a glance, one word to describe it is impressive, and two words would be quite impressive.
The standardization of the logistics center is evident in every detail:
Purchase a shoe cover machine to require that everyone entering the warehouse must wear shoe covers, in order to maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse;
Inbound and outbound registration;
The warehouse is divided into distinct areas, including "operation area, packaging area, pending dispatch area, turnover area, consumables area, and documentation area";
For storage location allocation, a product brand is set up next to each shelf, and detailed instructions for storing goods by model and location are provided, making it more convenient and efficient to store and retrieve goods;
From enhancing the hardware facilities of our logistics center to implementing standardized and normalized management, combined with our existing warehousing software system and cargo distribution system, we have taken a significant step towards becoming an international logistics center!
Enhancing logistics support capabilities, expanding warehousing, and shortening supply cycles to provide customers with faster, better, and higher-quality services are our unremitting pursuits!
