Open innovation cooperation, Eaton signs strategic cooperation agreement with Hainan Future Industrial Park
Shanghai, China - Recently, Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Hainan Future Industrial Park Investment and Operation Holdings Co., Ltd., with the high attention and strong support of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Government, as well as the Haikou Municipal Party Committee and Government, reached a strategic cooperation on building a zero carbon smart park and serving the Hainan Free Trade Port, creating a new benchmark for zero carbon smart parks.
As a provincial key park, Hainan Future Industrial Park is one of the important pillars to help Hainan Free Trade Port continuously optimize the business environment and achieve local industrial upgrading. On the afternoon of July 6, 2022, Feng Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Governor, met with Liu Hui, President of Eaton Electric Asia Pacific, and Shen Rong, Chairman and President of Hainan Future Industrial Park, in Sanya.
On the morning of July 7th, the strategic cooperation project between Eaton Group and Hainan Future Industrial Park participated in the key project signing ceremony of the 9th Annual Meeting of the European and American Alumni Association (Chinese Students Association) and the Hainan Free Trade Port Summit for Overseas Returnees' Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Ding Zhongli, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, President of the European and American Alumni Association (Chinese Association for Scholarly Exchange), Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shen Xiaoming, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Feng Fei, Deputy Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Governor, and Shen Danyang, Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Governor of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, jointly signed the document.
After the signing ceremony, Luo Zengbin, member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Haikou Municipal Party Committee, met with Liu Hui, President of Eaton Electric Asia Pacific, and Shen Rong, Chairman and President of Hainan Future Industrial Park.
On the morning of July 8th, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between Eaton (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Hainan Future Industrial Park was held at the Enterprise Service Center of Hainan Future Industrial Park, with the theme of "Open Innovation Cooperation and Co construction of Zero Carbon Smart Park".

Hainan Future Industrial Park
The Hainan Future Industrial Park was initiated and established by the Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation and the Shanghai Digital Content Industry Promotion Center. It was approved by the Haikou Municipal People's Government in December 2018 and was listed as one of the 25 provincial-level key parks in Hainan Province in June 2019. In October 2021, it was included as a key cooperation item in the "Shanghai Municipal People's Government Hainan Provincial People's Government Deepening Cooperation Memorandum".
